Look, we need audiences, and they need us. Crowd work is important for any stand-up. It’s part of the deal, and here are some things that I’ve noticed are true most of the time.

Post-hurricane Hostage Situation this Saturday
Well, last weekend was a real bummer. Not because people’s homes were flooded and people had to evacuate, but because we couldn’t do a ton of comedy shows. So to make up for it, Hostage Situation returns this week with a DOUBLE-HEADER. Take that, Irene.

And so, it needs a new name. It’s not really a nightcap anymore, unless you’re my Dad and you have a beer to fall asleep at 9 pm on a Saturday. It’ll run from 9 pm to about 10:30, every Saturday, and it will continue to be a great stand-up comedy show. I mean, just look at all this fun!
