Hostage Situation! 

Same great comedy, same great comics, but now it’s called Hostage Situation and it’s at 9 pm every Saturday. I really like Hostage Situation as the name of the show, because I remember one of my very first sets at the Village Lantern like 4 years ago. It was a long night. We couldn’t bark in a huge audience, and the show was kind of a wash anyway, so the host kept putting up more and more comics. After a while, the audience was a getting a little anxious. The host leaned over to me and whispered, “We gotta wrap this up soon. We got a hostage situation on our hands.” I thought that was really funny, and still really nice, because even though the show had clearly hit its peak an hour ago, the audience was still sticking around and supporting the comics. So, Hostage Situation is a cool-sounding term and is pretty relevant to the Village Lantern. Boom. This week, at the Hostage Situation:
